I’ve been a vegetarian since 1970 and a vegan since 1990 and, after years of trying desperately to find a decent place to eat in Hamilton, Toronto, and several countries of Europe, I know how truly special the food at Bistro Vie is. One doesn’t merely eat what Bistro Vie provides, one actually dines on it, savours it, smiles in anticipation of having it on one’s plate. Over time, good vegan food has become available in our area – and in London and Paris too – and is delicious or even on a par sometimes with Bistro Vie. But Candice in Dundas offers food with a distinct quality to it, one that is delicious and unique. She has a magic touch in the kitchen. We are so lucky to have her cooking available!

I love the food, the atmosphere, the location and the owner is amazing! The service was great too we got pick up. We got the lemon meringue pie which was INCREDIBLE, and the baguette halloumi and philly cheezesteak that was so delicious. I will be back for more because I want to try even more off of the menu here. Highly recommended 🙂

Yummy plant based comfort food with unique French flare. Had the cheeze and mushroom calzone – so flavourful! I would highly recommend to omnivores transitioning to a plant based diet.

The vegan lasagna we had for dinner last night was to die for. We are not vegan but heard wonderful things about Bistro Vie and wanted to try some of their dishes. We were not disappointed! Very flavourful and filling! Tonite, we’re going to try to bolognese sauce over pasta!! Can’t wait!

DELICIOUS MEAL with a generous portion size! I tried the Vegan Chilli for a group gathering and LOVED it! As a family we struggle sometimes to find tasty meatless meals but Bistro Vie NAILED it! Can’t wait to try their other recipes!
